Wise Friend for Hire. Hang on, I got you. Krishna with friends over chai on a Chennai rooftop at sunset.

Let's grab a drink.

Business, mind, body, soul or heart. Bring whatever you're carrying. Leave lighter. Sometimes a lot lighter.

So what is this, exactly?

No sessions. No worksheets. No "and how does that make you feel?"

Just you, me, a good table and an unhurried conversation.

I listen. I ask the annoying questions. I tell you what I actually think. And somewhere between the first round and the last, things start to shift.

You walk out clearer. Lighter. Moving again. That's the whole idea.

Whatever you're carrying

Some people come with a business problem. Some with a broken heart. Some with a mind that won't quiet down, or a question about why they're here at all. I've spent years on every one of these layers. Here's what I bring to each.

I've watched people walk in carrying their whole life on their shoulders and walk out seeing it completely differently. Everyone deserves a friend like that. Now you've got one.

How we meet

My favourite · 2–3 hours

Over drinks

Two to three hours. Unhurried. We wander wherever the conversation wants to go. This is where the deep stuff happens.

1 hour

Over coffee

One hour. Focused, and still surprisingly deep.

You don't have to drink. I usually do. Order whatever you like.

Who I click with

Chilled-out people. If a relaxed evening at a bar with an honest conversation sounds good to you, we'll get along just fine.

The fine print (short, promise)

  • Just you and me. The person who books is the person I meet.
  • Strictly platonic.
  • Venue: somewhere we're both comfortable.
  • The bill's on you. Drinks, food, venue: all yours, on top of the plan. Travel is on me if it's local.
  • Not therapy, medical, financial or legal advice. If you're dealing with trauma, panic or PTSD, keep your professional in the loop. I'm a good addition, not a replacement. If you're ever in danger, call for help first.
  • What you tell me stays with me.
  • Unused meets expire at the end of each month.
  • Rescheduling: we'll figure out a convenient time for both of us.
